The Bak-Rak Heavy Duty Swan to Flange Convertor/Adaptor [HDS2F] is a converter to clamp around a standard UK swan-neck towball (fixed or detachable) allowing then fitment of attachments that need the 2X16mm holes on 90mm centres of a conventional towball fitting. This will include motorcycle racks, alternative towing eyes and heavy duty carriers. This variant is particularly popular with Dave Cooper Motor Bike Rack users.
The maximum loading is 150Kg – although this is dependent on the vehicle system capability defined by the vertical max load on the towball plate (S-value). NEVER EXCEED THE NOSEWEIGHT LIMIT OF YOUR VEHICLE.
The HDS2F Mk2 uses the patented bak-rak clamshell and housing mounting within a stainlesless fabricated bracket.
The clamshell is clamped around the towball by a 10.9 M12 bolt and your accessory is held on the the fabrication by 2-off M16 10.9 bolts and flange nuts.
Care needs to be taken if fitting towing attachments to ensure the load goes through the centre-line of the existing towball to ensure the rated towball loading is maintained. This may involve the fitting of a drop-plate to lower the load-line.
You must not exceed the noseweight (s-value) of your towball!

This is the perfect product to use with a Dave Cooper motorbike rack. The 150kg load limit allows bikes of up to 135kg (including fluid) to be carried on suitable vehicles with an appropriate nose weight limit. This takes into account the weight of the bike and the rack. Remember – never exceed the noseweight of your vehicle.
